Butterfly Model Render Image

Here it is, the list of test render for the butterfly model. Right now i am in term of working on the rigging on the model. But as far the model and the texture is pretty much done. Once the rigging is done i can finally move into roughly cut up a short test animation of the commercial. However i still need to work on the environment of the butterfly commercial, stuff like different texture of the butterfly, trees, cocoon, and grass......a lot of works need to be done for next couple days.....wish me luck.....and i will keep you guys posted.

Research on the Butterfly

So i been research on the butterfly i been working with in term of texturing the model and animating the butterfly. I finalize the Monarch will be the butterfly i will be working with. So I already have finalize model for the butterfly which i will post later today, again. But here are some of the research that i got so far from online.....

Critics from Animation Project Studio

Sorry of haven't update for about 2 weeks, been busy of modeling for the butterfly. Which i will post up later today. So i got some feedback 2 weeks ago on the concepts of my thesis project. Here are some of the feedback.....

Feedback
-not showing the hand drawing the concept near the end.
-a bit forcing people to understand the idea
-it should be more imagination for viewer
-transforming part should be taking away, it's not very important to the viewer and not important to the concepts

Reaction
-possibly cut out the transforming part
-instead of the transforming part it will be a cut of transformation of the object into a flat drawing and then zoom out the drawing where a hand holding the pencil coming in to continue to finish the drawing.

Finally get to work on the roller coaster commercial concepts, whole roller coaster shot turn out pretty sweet!!!! anyhow, still not quite done with the compositing with hand into the commercial. But here is the rough cut of the animation. I should be working on it this whole week and i will keep up the update of the newer version.

So i get to work on more roller coaster ideas. Here are some of the finish render. Probably will be modify the camera angle a bit and will be start animating soon......As well i did most of the key pose of the roller coaster car.

Feedback from Class
-Roller Coaster fly off/drop down = scary
-Roller Coaster fly up instead of scary drop down
-Beginning sequence dont show the roller coaster car, people would thought they are in roller coaster car. However when camera cut to the side its the very front of a part of mechanical pencil. Then the Mechanical pencil assemble when it fly up in the air. Mechical pencil then land on a person's hand or a hand came in grab it.
