Some More Research On The Mechanical Pencil

So over the weekend, i decided to do some of research in store (as well getting some school supply).....so i end up with the mechanical pencil section at Staple. Most of the products are target to be mass produce or attraction to kids with crazy graphic. I end up with this mechanical pencil made by Staedtler

As i mention in last post, Staedtler is most well know of making pencil for the architecture use. The design of the pencil is extremely simple, nothing complicate on the pencil. Might not be as attractive to middle school kids. Maybe design more toward to high school or college kids. Anyway so i end up purchase this mechanical pencil, which comes with 2 mechanical pencil and 2 replaceable eraser as it can seen. The whole things cost $8.99....quite expensive compare to the other pencil on the self. As well one thing this pencil do which might be the reason its so expensive is the design of holding leads in 2 places, which use about 97.5% lead instead of waste lead.

Here are some close shoot of the bottom of the box. It as well allow people to touch the grip part...see if its comfortable enough for the user. And on the side is the mention of the "Double Clutch" with a diagram.

Here is the back of the box, contain another diagram which again shows the double clutch parts. The diagram is more detail. Rest is just the information of the product.

-So for past couple weeks, as you can see on the post.....i been actually focus on creating the pencil instead of creating an advertisement. It's not like i don't want to create the pencil, but i would love to more focus on the advertisement instead of a product design. As now i just decided instead of design blinding i will be using this Staedtler mechanical pencil as my product and start an ad campaign for it.
